Shagbark Lumber/East Haddam School District

Project Brief:

This is the second solar project Shagbark Lumber has installed. In 2014, Shagbark lumber installed a 150 kW solar rooftop array that now provides 100% of their facility’s electrical needs.

The strong performance of that array is what led Shagbark to consider another solar project. Shagbark ‘s vision was to use their land to build an array that could offer lower cost electricity for the nearby East Haddam School District. This project helps to fulfill that vision.
